Terms

Plain terms for using this site.

What the site and the free review are, how we use AI, and where the limits are. Work for a client is under a separate written agreement with its own scope and price.

Draft for counsel review, not yet in force.Last edited 30 September 2026. This is a draft for review, not an approved agreement.

๐Ÿ“Œ Counsel: these are website terms of use only. The client service terms (scope, term, cancellation, access, client duties, liability, IP in deliverables) go in the master services agreement and order form, drafted separately (spec rows WS05-02 and WS05-03).

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and Moonrobin, Inc., a California corporation now being formed, and cover your use of moonrobin.com and the free review you can request on it. Using the site means you accept them.

๐Ÿ“Œ Counsel: confirm the entity line and effective date after the October filing, and whether browsewrap acceptance is enough for website terms.

2. The free review

You can ask for a free review of your business. A person on our team runs it: we look at your public website, your public listings and search results, and what AI assistants say when asked about businesses like yours, then send you what we found and what we would fix first.

  • It is free, and asking for it does not commit you to anything.
  • It is information about what we observed on the day, from public sources. It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and it is not a promise of any result.
  • Where the review shows an answer from an AI provider's API, it says so. An API answer can differ from what the same provider's consumer app shows a customer.

๐Ÿ“Œ Before this page is in force: the review engine still labels some API answers with consumer product names (audit finding 9); the truthful labels are spec row WS07-05.

  • You can ask us to delete your review and your request at any time (see the privacy page).

3. Working with us

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell at a price. If you decide to work with us, the scope, the price and the term are set out in a written proposal and agreement for your business, and that agreement governs the work. Service activation requires a signed agreement, verified payment or operator-approved credit terms, the required client access, and a stored baseline.

4. How we use AI

Our work is done by AI agents together with people on our team. A person on our team approves anything we send to you and any change we make in your accounts before it happens. Anything written or answered by an AI assistant on our behalf is labeled as Moonrobin's AI assistant wherever you could mistake it for a person.

๐Ÿ“Œ Before this page is in force: the complete approval and labeling workflow remains pending. The current WS00 policy denies review email and client mutations without the required approval machinery; feature flags alone do not authorize them. The AI label on every message and interface is checked with the Concierge and email templates (WS04-15, WS06-09, WS16-03). The Reviewer checks both against the code before counsel signs off.

5. No guarantee of recommendations, rankings, bookings or revenue

Google, Yelp, the AI assistants and every other platform are third parties that decide for themselves what to show and whom to recommend. We work on the reasons a business is missing or misdescribed and we report what changes, but we do not guarantee that any assistant or search engine will recommend you, rank you, or send you bookings or revenue.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to request a review of a business you do not own or manage without its permission, to submit someone else's personal details, to probe or overload the site, or to send anything unlawful. We may refuse or stop a review that breaks these rules.

7. Content and ownership

The site, its text, design and the review format belong to Moonrobin. Facts about your business stay yours. You may share your own review freely.

8. Limits of liability

The site and the free review are provided as they are, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Moonrobin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or the free review.

๐Ÿ“Œ Counsel: the disclaimer and limitation wording, whether it must be conspicuous under California law, and whether any cap applies to a free service.

9. Law and disputes

California law governs these terms.

๐Ÿ“Œ Counsel: venue (county), courts versus arbitration, and a small-claims carve-out.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page moves when we do.
